Carla is the former Senior Marketing Manager on the music team at TikTok, where she was a driving force in shaping music trends on the platform. With a meticulous and creative strategy, she led campaigns for some of the biggest music moments including ‘Elevator’ by Beachcrimes & Tia Tia, ‘Lady Killers ||’ by GRAMMY award winning artist G-Eazy and ‘Blicky’ by Fresh x Reckless.
Carla was recognised in Music Network’s 30 under 30, for her work in artist audience development and launched TikTok’s promotion and distribution platform, SoundOn in 2022.
Before transitioning into music marketing, Carla led celebrity partnerships, helping high-profile talent grow their audience on TikTok with content strategies that resonated with them and their fans. Prior to her four years at TikTok, Carla led social media and brand partnerships for the world’s biggest alcohol brands, including Budweiser and Corona at AB InBev.
